Join us at the entrance to the Cape Canaveral library for voter education and outreach. We'll register citizens to VOTE, collect candidate petitions and Vote-By-Mail (VBM) ballot requests (SB90 requires Florida voters to proactively request their VBM every two-year election cycle). We'll also educate voters on Florida's new voter law, SB 1334.
No experience needed. We'll train you. Feel free to wear your blue Brevard Democrats shirt. We have a lot to be proud of as members of the Democratic Party. The logistics team will bring table, chairs and your kit of supplies. Our goal is to have 2 volunteers at a time with each team having a 2-3 hour shift. New volunteers are always scheduled with an experienced volunteer for their 1st shift, where they'll receive training. Save the websites VoteBrevard.gov and VoterRecords.com to your smartphone. These are useful in searching for voter information while we're tabling. If this is your first time volunteering, be sure to read the 'Read Me First' instructions included in the tabling kit.
We recommend you bring a cold water, a hat and sunglasses.
Thank you for volunteering! This is what Democracy looks like!
