Join the Brevard Democrats for our daily phonebanking event focused on helping voters renew their Vote-by-Mail requests and stay ready for upcoming elections. Volunteers will connect with voters across Brevard County, provide important information about the renewal process, and help ensure every eligible voter can make their voice heard.
Whether you’re an experienced volunteer or trying phonebanking for the first time, we’ll provide training, scripts, and support. Just bring your energy and commitment to protecting voter participation in our community.
These are ongoing virtual phonebanks that you can participate in on your own schedule. Links will be provided via email after sign up.

We're asking you to visit Democrats (or other party affiliations that have indicated they would vote for Dems) in your community. We'll provide you a list of names and addresses (aka Turfs). Most answer the door and are glad to see you. Many people do not realize all Vote-By-Mail (VBM) requests are deleted every two years. Voters must proactively request again. Remind voters that requesting a VBM doesn't mean you have to use it. They can still vote in person, if they prefer. It's just good to have that additional voting method in case something unexpected happens that prevents them from voting in person (Hurricane, health issue, etc). That's where we can help.
No experience needed. We'll train you. We'll pair an experienced canvasser with you until you're comfortable in your skills and knowledge. Volunteers needed to knock on doors and/or drive for a canvasser.
Turfs are handed out and training scheduled during this 'Turf pick up' event. Then, the volunteer canvasser canvasses at their own pace during the coming week. If no trainer is available to partner with you at your 'Turf pick up' event, call trainer, Sherri Hudson (321-960-4609) to schedule a canvass date/time, with a trainer, that works for you.
If this is your first canvass, please download the 'Mini Van' app (and create your account, it's free) to your smartphone as this is the tool we use to canvass.
Thank you for volunteering! This is what Democracy looks lik.
